A Melbourne IT company

Tech Arena provides managed IT, cybersecurity, Microsoft 365 and practical AI for small and medium businesses, explained in plain English.

Why Tech Arena exists

Tech Arena is an Australian IT company on St Kilda Road in Melbourne. It started because the same four problems kept turning up in small businesses: nobody owns the IT, security is left open, money goes on tools nobody uses, and support is slow and full of jargon.

Tech Arena looks after managed IT, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity and cloud. It also sets up infrastructure from scratch, builds AI receptionists and automation, and writes custom software.

The promise is one person who knows your setup. You deal with Shehrose Shabbir, not a call centre, and a small team backs Shehrose up.

Meet Shehrose Shabbir

Shehrose Shabbir, Director

Shehrose has worked in IT since 2013. The work has included designing infrastructure from scratch, setting up Microsoft 365 environments with Entra ID, Intune and Defender, and hardening networks and firewalls. It has also included building a custom ERP system for PolyTech.pk, a manufacturing business overseas.

Shehrose Shabbir studied at the Victorian Institute of Technology in Melbourne from 2016 to 2019. The first planner project there, for students and teachers, grew into the business.

How Tech Arena started

From helping people with IT in 2013 to a registered Melbourne company in 2025.

  1. 2013

Shehrose Shabbir starts fixing IT problems for friends and acquaintances. It becomes freelance IT and web work.

  2. 2016

While studying at the Victorian Institute of Technology, Shehrose Shabbir builds a planner for students and teachers. The university project turns into a side hustle.

  3. By referral

Clients tell other businesses. Referrals snowball, and the side hustle becomes steady work.

  4. March 2025

The business is registered as Tech Arena Pty Ltd, with its ABN and GST active from 1 March 2025.

  5. Today

Managed IT, security, Microsoft 365 and cloud for Melbourne businesses. Infrastructure built from scratch. AI and automation. Custom software, including a custom ERP system for PolyTech.pk, a manufacturing business overseas.
